With a deep bench of 90+ rated blends and a lengthy family history in the cigar industry, Torano is no stranger to creating innovative, high-quality blends. Their latest, Salutem, holds true to form....delivering a rich, medium-bodied smoke that's delicious from start to finish.
To create Salutem, Charlie Torano worked a little outside the box. A dark, oily Ecuadorian Habano wrapper, a silky Jalapa binder, and a unique combination of Nicaraguan, Dominican, and Cameroon (Africa), long-fillers. This combination presents a well-rounded profile that fires on all cylinders. Smoothness, balance, texture, richness, and more - it's all there and perfectly in sync. Expect notes of earth, coffee, leather, wood, nuts, caramel, and pepper. Excellent, no doubt, but we'd expect no less from Torano.
