La Aurora Superiores

One thing La Aurora does not lack is capital. They’ve got access to some of the finest tobaccos in the world and when it comes to quality, money is no object (as evidenced by their $10+ Preferidos blend among others). For Superiores, they deployed these tobaccos with the goal of creating a category-busting, value priced handmade blend. Well, it never really got off the ground sales-wise. But I got my greasy paws on all of it - each in great sizes (Robusto, Toro, Belicoso, Churchill). So now instead of a good value, it’s ridiculously cheap, I mean borderline obscene. With good quality tobaccos, decent smoothness and copious flavor - all for under two bones a stick - you’ve got yourself no-brainer closeout deal.

I ordered a box of these for the price, I am ordering my 4th box now, and it's not because of the price anymore. I love these cigars. They burn well, nice smooth draw, great mild cigar. perfect for everyday smokers. I wish they weren't on closeout, i worry they won't be there when i want some more.
These are some of the best tasting cigars I've ever had. They look, burn and taste like a very expensive cigar but with out the cost. What a pleasure it is to smoke these beauties. I will always keep these cigars in stock... I hope C.I. will always do the same.

Not a bad cigar(Superiores from La Aurora) for the low price of $29.99

Wow! I've been trying a lot of different brands lately and this one from La Aurora ranks right up there on the top. No more $3.00+ cigars for me.

Burns great and the draw is smooth, but I must have gotten a bad box....I find not much flavor at all.

I smoke at least one cigar a day and have always been pleased with the recommendations by CI. However, this has got to be the worst cigar I've ever smoked. It smells like green dirt and it leaves a dirt taste in your mouth. I Am trashing the rest of these. I'd rather throw them away than to pawn them off on a friend.

A good cigar (Superiores from La Aurora) for the price. Very mild but with pretty good flavor. A great everyday smoke.

It got up to 20 degrees here in Central WI, so had to go out and try a (Superiores from La Aurora). Smooth as silk with very good flavor. Burned well, even at 20 degrees. I can't wait for 30 degrees so I can sit out in the lawn chair and light up another.

I smoke 1 everyday (Superiores from La Aurora) during a round of golf... It has great taste and burns well.....
(Superiores by La Aurora) are very nice med-mellow cigars that taste like far more expensive med-mellows. The Connecticut wrapper is VERY delicate, so make sure to humi these guys well first. My next order, i'll try a box of the Indonesian (if they haven't ran out). These make great gifts!

I got a Superiores in the stimulus sampler and smoked it right off the truck. I really enjoyed this mild cigar. It started grassy but quickly smoothed out and burned perfectly. Great cigar for the $29/box closeout price.

Unbeatable price, but this cigar follows the old adage that you get what you pay for. The Conneticut shade wrappers are rough and have a few green spots. Tight draw on some cigars in the box, perfect on others. Strength is mild to medium, with notes of cedar, oak, and grass on the palate. I've put aside some sticks in my humidor for aging, and will revisit the cigar in 6 months. Superiores don't quite qualify as diamonds in the rough, but nonetheless are a good value.

Update: aging did absolutely nothing to help the taste of my Conneticut Shade Churchill Superiores. I've tried 3 more sticks, but couldn't finish any of them due to an overly rank vegetal taste. A hint of grass & oak hits the palate on rare occasion, but overall, these sticks are fetid. I refuse to further sully the reputation of my humidor with these stink bombs, so into the garbage they go.

Well for a $1 a stick you could not expect nothing more than this. It's lack of flavor (i had the Indonesian). Ugly wrapper BUT... burn well. Thanks but i never buy them again.

I must say this cigar is well worth the money, it's a nice miled smoke with a smooth draw. It doesn't get better than this for a low cost cigar. It's got quality, comfort and price, that's nice.

A really great every day Churchill. Easy draw - very consistent.

I wasn't impressed with these, hailing with the name La Aurora over them I expected a little more even for a budget smoke. Poor burn, so-so taste I wouldn't buy again.
