Room 101 Connecticut by Camacho Sale

Room 101 schools mild cigars.

A couple of years ago, a cigar called Room 101 hit the market. Sure, the name's a little odd, but the cigars are legit. In fact, they're made by Camacho....one of the best boutique manufacturers on the market. Recently, they've expanded the line by adding a Connecticut-wrapped variation - appropriately named Room 101 Connecticut. Draped in a top-grade Connecticut wrapper from Ecuador and brimming with long-fillers from Nicaragua and the Dominican, this creamy, medium-bodied blend provides ample flavor. Notes of cream, cedar, pepper, and coffee are present and delivered. It's not strong, but the amount of flavor might have you thinking otherwise....and that's a good thing.

There are better sticks for the price
Good cut, light and draw. Harsh loosely packed; spongy. Decent ash however delivered hot smoke approaching the halfway mark. Bitter with an abrasive retrohale. Quick burn. Hints of cocoa and lots of burning paper. There are much better sticks for the price. Will not re-order.

Room 101 Connecticut by Camacho 404
Excellent cigar for the price. Good smooth flavor, easy on the palate, and last a good while.

Fantastic-great flavor & tons of smoke with the perfect draw
Good to the last drop - let's get more in stock - One thing that disappoints me; you try a cigar; you decide you like it & want to order more and they're out of stock

Sometimes You Just Want a Connecticut
...and, like a Camacho, these fit the bill.

Excellent every day smoke
Somewhat spicy start, then off to a great, smooth burn w/ big clouds of smoke. Very well-constructed. Good stuff!

Nice but forgettable.
It is a very mild smoke. Draws a bit hard. Somewhat bland taste. I purchased based on one I received in a cigar club. Somehow it seemed better than the box. Overall somewhat forgettable. Probably would not purchase again.

Pretty darn good
I bought a box of these for work as a lunch time smoke. Didn't know what to expect. I love the old Camacho and a fan of Room 101. This turned out to be a wonderfully peppery cigar at first and then went nice and smooth. Zero combustion and construction problems. I would say that this is on the mild to medium side. Will buy more. Not much for conny wrappers but the blend really upset the ante. Worth a try if you want something in between your heavy smokes and light mild. Fills the gap.

RM 101 Connecticut
Smoked 5 of my first box. Very good consistent burn and ash. Nice draw. I like the taste which I find on the milder side of medium. This could replace my Fuente double chateau easily.

Great smoke
This really a great cigar. Burns slow and even. Great taste and not much after taste. Long lasting. I have been smoking for 30 years and to me this is the best and won't break you.

Okay
These are some decent smokes. I picked them up on clearance. I would rate them higher but the box I received was really dry. The outer wrapper on a lot of them are cracked and flaking off.

"Best Bang for your Dollar"
Camacho Cigars are "Bold" - That has been my experience: I have been smoking cigars since 2006 and I am a big Perdomo fan: Tried Room 101 because of the Camacho name and the "Connecticut Wrapper": 6x60 is my evening smoke with a nice drink. Got a 5 pack and smoked my 1st "101" - Mild with a ton of flavor - Great Draw - not a harsh puff in the whole 2 hour smoke: So I bought a box to alternate between Perdomo Champagne (My Fav) I highly recommend this Cigar - You will thank yourself over and over: One of the best" bang for your dollar":
