Romeo y Julieta Reserva Real

Yet another chapter has been written to the Romeo y Julieta cigar story.

Introducing Reserva Real cigars. Like the Romeo Viejo, it's a more rich and flavorful blend than you may be accustomed to with Romeo. Adding a healthy helping of Nicaraguan long-filler to the traditional Dominican blend, you'll notice a more flavorful, heartier cigar than the 1875 line. Add an Ecuadorian grown Connecticut Shade wrapper to smooth the flavor a bit, while adding the right amount of spice to the palate to keep things interesting. Available in a slew of sizes, you're sure to find something you'll like in this line.

Romeo y Julieta Reserva Real received a well-deserved 91-rating noting: "Attractive, with nice oils, this cigar has a fine draw and a spicy, chewy flavor with hints of leather. It has a pleasant, cedary finish."

One of my Favorites.
Truly one of my favorites! Good/even burn and mild enough to smoke a couple a day. My go to golf cigar.

Did not care for them
More than half the box smoked terrible, thought they would be the same quality as the regular Reserve Reals.

"Not so happy"
I am glad you asked! I ordered and received a box of Reserva Real Robustos recently as you know. I let them rest a couple of weeks and then began smoking them. The flavor and burn that I have come accustomed to with these usually fine cigars was definitely not in this box of cigars. I have smoked at least ten of them so far could not make it past half way on any of them. I really think they are fake and I am not happy with this purchase. Oddly enough, I ordered some Toros a few weeks back from the Daily Deal and those were excellent. Again, thanks for asking.

Harold Chilstrom's review
The cigars are okay, I have had better cigars with the Gurkha Beauties.

R & J Reserva Real R the Best
I like the Porto Real tubo size, keeps smoke tasty and smooth to the end. Great for golfing, consistent burn. Reserva Real is my favorite smoke, always mild.

RyJ Reserva Real Toro
Has been one of my favorites. Always a consistent flavorful cigar. Perfect with Red Wines, after dinner cordials or a favorite Ale.

great service but have had a problem with last 2 orders
I have had a problem with my last 2 orders that I have not experienced before on several different brand cigars. My Father, Romeo, and Davidoff. The wrappers are unwrapping during the beginning of the smoke or even before I light the cigar. To say I am disappointed is an understatement. I keep my humidor between 69% and 72%

try the maduro
REALLY? REALLY? the maduro version of this cigar is great! but this CT version is very mediocre, with almost no taste whatsoever and almost no strength, it has little transition or flavor of any kind. it is kinda a "practice" cigar, so a smoker can work their way up to a real cigar. if this cigar cost $3, I would call it overpriced, but it costs more than double that, so guess what I'd like to call it now? there are LOTSA cigars at this price that are 10Xs better

I've smoked these for quite some time. Always smokes slow and even, but stays lit for quite some time. Perfect for golf when it sits for a while, but doesn't need relit. Nice flavors

Now an even larger ring gauge!?
This is one of my most favorite cigars. It doesn't matter the time of the year or what I'm doing. This is a great cigar anytime. I'll always keep "Romeo y Julieta Reserva Real" stocked in my humidor.

Very pleasant introduction to medium smoking cigar
I do like these a lot. Lovely, even burning, easy drawing and very pleasant smoke. If you like mild cigars, this medium will probably surprise you. Not in the least bit overbearing. I will be purchasing these again.

Great cigar!
I thoroughly enjoy this cigar when I have the time to devote to it. The Reserva Real needs this time to deliver all of its flavors. Take the time and really let the cigar do its magic.

Not Bad!
Always smoke the Toro so I thought this would be the better deal with the extra length but was disappointed. Just not the same burn...hard to explain but I'll stick with my Toro!

!Mucho bueno, senor!
Recently ordered a five-pack of RyJ Reserva Real and haven't looked back. These are truly world class cigars, rich yet creamy. medium flavor, medium body tending toward mild. (Respectfully disagree with CI's assessment that they're full-bodied.) These cigars are smooth as silk and very smokeable, especially to a former Royal Jamaica-Macanudo smoker like me.

Awesome smoke
I have bought these multiple times and they never disappoint. Also bought some Punchs which were just as good! Need to order more already!
Customer Testimonials
I got this in an R&J sampler that also included the 1875, Media Noche, and Churchill Vintage. This cigar blew the others away in flavor, draw, and aesthetics. In fact, this is my favorite cigar (I think). I can't really explain the flavor, except that it is unique and very, very good. I thought that the R&J 1875 was a great all-around cigar, but the Reserva Real just took its place in my humidor.
The best cigar in the RYJ lineup. Creamy and smooth.
The RESERVA REAL robusto is the best mild to medium smoke I've had. The burn, the construction, and the flavor. I always go for the full body smoke, but with these beauties I will always make an exception.
Well made, lots of smoke, great flavor, good burn, no issues at all. 60 minutes of pure pleasure. A lot of bang for the buck with the Reserva Real! A reliable go-to stick.
I've smoked this cigar for 10 years. I ALWAYS get compliments about it and people ask me for the wrapper everywhere I go. I've tried others, but always come back.
I got 1 in the backyard boogie deal. Not my favorite by far. Good burn lots of smoke taste a bit too over powering. If I would get another I would trade it off.
Still one of the best cigars out there!
This a very enjoyable cigar. I recently smoked a Corona and it was good down to the nub. I gave one to my son and he agreed, asking for another one. I just ordered some more in the Toro size, Enjoy!
THE BEST, I always long for cuban cigar quality and this is it. Great wrap, draw, and flavor. A all around balanced package.
These are some of the finest smokes around. They always burn well with a long ash. They have a flawless wrapper and are always a great relaxing smoke. The Corona is the perfect size for a nice 45 to 55 minute smoke.
Just started smoking cigars and this is probably my favorite so far only after a Cuban Cohiba I had for my birthday. I picked one of these babies up at the local smoke shop. The cigar is smooth, creamy, and a mild flavor. Beautiful construction and it tasted great all the way down to the nub! Definitely going to be buying a box!
There's nothing better than finding a great cigar. The RyJ Reserva Real, for me, is that cigar. The burn and draw.... perfect, and the flavors are delicious. Time to make space in the humi for a new favorite.
Sweet cream from the Dominican Republic! The finest cigar in R&J's line up. The taste and aroma is slightly sweet with lots of new leather and sweet cedar. I could eat these!
I just got into cigar appreciation over the last year. I love the boutique Maduros and rich potent blends like everyone else. On a whim I bought a five pack of the RJ RRs and stuck them in the Humidor for a month. Today, I am halfway through my first one. Here is my review...when I draw and exhale I close my eyes and I am taken to the Miami, Calle Ocho barber shop my dad and I frequented my entire childhood. This cigar takes me back to a beautiful time with a beautiful people so much a part of my history. Este tabaco es el gran sabor de Miami e tambien de mi joventud!
Lonsdale are very smooth and mellow which makes it a fine rotation. Burns very well and the aroma smells good also. I haven't had any problems from any sizes nor make. RJ are one of the best manufacturing in the business but that's my opinion others would say differently or the same @ @ ----
One of my favorite cigars. Very good overall and not too pricey. You know you are smoking a quality stick when you take the first draw. Thumbs up!
I just got into cigars after a trip to the Bahamas. I had the pleasure of smoking a couple cuban cigars while I was there. When I got home I bought a humidor. The first cigar I bought was a Reserva Real. Just put flame to it today and was very impressed. But then again I'm a rookie. But there will be a home for this one in my humidor.
I traded a couple of Rocky Sun Growns to my buddy for a couple these (Romeo y Julieta Reserva Real) and I lit up a Churchill right after the tip off of the Washington State vs UCLA basketball game yesterday. Would you believe that this cigar, with the most perfect burn and tons of pure white smoke lasted for the entire 2 hour plus game? The construction, draw, and burn was absolutely perfect and the flavor was just plain nice, it was just what a good cigar should taste like. With WSU pulling out the great win, I think I'm going to call this my lucky cigar and save my remaining one for another big game!
I only smoke R&J Reserve Real Toro's, they burn great, taste excellent, give you plenty of smoke and for the price you can't beat them so give your self a treat and get a box and put them in your humidore. You won't be dissatisfied.
Iwas born in Cuba, my family was in the tobaco plantation, I smoke cigars since I was 17 years old. An to me the Romeo and Julieta (Romeo y Julieta Reserva Real) line of cigars. is one of the best cigars in the market and the best prices. I been doing business with Cigars International for few years and the prices and service is number one.
I'm new to cigar smoking and have been sampling many different brands and flavors...this (Romeo y Julieta Reserva Real) is by far the best cigar I have tried so far. Mild flavor, smooth, even draw and an even burn. Great, smooth taste too.
Romeo Reserva Real (Romeo y Julieta Reserva Real) is the best smoke I've ever had. Excellent draw, mild to medium flavor amd excellent size. I would highly recommend the toro. Excellent length and ring gauge.
This cigar (Romeo y Julieta Reserva Real) is smooth from start to finish. The torpedo is excellent. The construction is of wonderful quality, lots of smoke, and burns evenly This is one cigar you want to smoke to your fingertips!
