Review of knock-offs
I did not like them. Lacked flavor and construction. Too loosely rolled.

Partigass knock offs
I would rate them as about 80% the flavor of the Partigass. Good for the money.

Nothing like Partagas, but give them a chance
These taste nothing like PARTAGAS. They are very smooth and offer a nice balanced flavor. However, the look and taste are way off.

CI Knockoffs-- a Fabulous Smoke
The CI-Knock-Offs that compare to Partagas Gigantes just blew my mind. They taste great from start to finish and they burn really good. On a scale of 1-10 they rate a "10" in my book. I may try the CI Cohiba knock-offs next time. Thanks, Cigars International!!!

Surprising cigar which knocked me off my feet. This cigar is more high end than a knock off. Great Smoke

knock off NOT a Knockout
I smoke 2-4 dollar cigars normally. Averaging almost one a day. These have been hit and miss. I almost sent them back after the first couple due to construction issues, draw and burn, but they have been better. They are just something to smoke really, no big deal for me. I have never been able to taste all of the things that these reviewers have done. I like an easier draw and lots of smoke without burning my tongue or mouth. These are okay. I wanted the larger CI knockoffs, but they were out. These were churchills. I never saw Winston smoking small long cigars

Taste is everything
I can't tell the difference between the the real and the knock off, the only thing different is that they don't have a band, I'll pay this price all day long! You can't smoke the band anyway, and if you're so vane that you need to have people see the band, then it's about the look and not the taste!!!

Superb Cigars
I've smoked a large variety of cigars, from many expensive names. I also enjoy a box of Partagas every time I am in Russia. The CI KO cigars are on part with the real ones. I keep my humidor full of these cigars and am currently enjoying one now as I right this. Thanks CI

So So
Very loose fill and soft. Burn was OK, Taste isn't horrible. It's taking a while to get through the box as they aren't even close to Partagas in either construction or taste.

C.I. Partagus knock off
Initially upon toasting the cigar I was overwhelmed by bouquet and flavor. Immediately I knew this was a good cigar! The only disappointment I have is in the wrapper itself, very thin and blemishes, that being said " Whadda want for 2 clams.. Fuggetbout it! Great deal

CI Knock-Offs - Compare to Partagas Gigante
Another one of my favorite cigars. I think There better than some name brands. I love the the taste and how it smokes I love theses cigars thank you for having them

Avoid. Very harsh, not close to Partagas.
Trimmings are used for filler. I tossed 18 after not finishing the first 2 cigars. Comparable to a machine made grocery store cigar. I have been a daily premium cigar smoker for years, if these cigars were my only smoke option, I would quit.

Not even close to Partagas
First off, these don't taste anything like a Partagas. I mean, not even close. Also, they need some time in the humidor to become smokable. Right off the truck they're very harsh and bitter. They're listed as having Cameroon wrappers, but it's actually some type of dark Madero leaf. Construction isn't bad, so I'll give it 2 stars instead of one. But I'd recommend giving this one a pass. I certainly won't buy again.

Worth The Price
Nice Flavor, but a loose fill. Will age a Bit.

Pretty Damn Good
Pretty much my everyday smoke, and it rarely disappoints. Clearly it is not the same as the Partagas brand, but occasionally it comes really close. Mostly consistent, I can generally smoke one for an hour and half every night. An excellent value! $39.00 isn't going to kill anyone, and these are definitely worth trying if you are a Partagas fan or you want a nice smoke with an even nicer price.

quality is suffering due to lack of proper fermentation
I have purchased the CI knockoffs on occasion. The last couple times I've noticed the quality has really suffered. Being a grower for the industry my eye is trained to look at tobacco. It seems that very little fermentation and no aging are going into these cigars creating a bitter taste as the ammonia has not had the proper time to be removed. They may be inexpensive but are now hardly worth smoking. They leave my throat a little raw. Sorry but I have to be honest. They were very good a couple years ago.

my everyday cigar, I only gave 4 stars because sometimes they are packed a little too tight.

Great service
I've always gotten excellent service at CI. And at prices the cigar shops can't touch. CI is the only place I shop for cigars. I just don't need to go anywhere else.

Knock offs better
The Corona's a little too mild, the CI's are healthier, with more body, and well made,....no broken wrappers....use another name than "Knock-offs" because their not.....

Great cigar for the money!

A humidor staple, i.e., It's a Keeper!
These Knock-Offs are some of the best smokes I've had. I tried a couple of the other Knock-Offs and they where ok but not as good as the Partagas Knock-Offs. This cigar has come to be a staple in my humidor. For me it's a nice "soft" full bodied cigar, not to strong but not mild either. Oh, and you can't beat the price. Please never discontinue these fine cigars.

Great cigar!
I'm a huge Partagas fan but often can't afford them. These knock-off are an excellent substitute. They smoke great, even burn, nice draw and they taste awesome. My humidor will get more of these on a monthly basis

Recent order - CI Knockoffs and "Fresh rolled Cuban Wheel"
I haven't tried the CI Knockoffs (Partagas) yet, but was disappointed to see that they are a Madura wrapper.maybe I missed this, but not sure it was advertised as such. As for the "Fresh Rolled Cuban Wheel", I have been very disappointed in the workmanship. The wrapper has peeled very early in the smoke, even though my humidor is perfectly conditioned. Very disappointing.

Price considered, these are a good alternative to Partagas.
Flavorwise and on draw, these are comparable to Partagas. My only complaint is on their construction - they leave bits of tobacco in my mouth on each pull. Even so, at their price, one-third that of real Partagas, I still find them to be a very good value.

Great deal for the price
I got 20 of the Miley and 20 of the medium. 90% burned great and100% tasted great. I will definitely buy again.

My First Bad Deal
Almost every cigar split when clipping the cap. It didn't matter what humidity level I kept them at, the wrapper would split regardless. I also used a variety of cutters and the wrapper continued to split. Of the few cigars I did manage to smoke, I got a lot of tobacco in my mouth from the short filler. Definitely not a Partagas. Closer to a Garcia y Vega 5-cent cigar.

I enjoy these cigars. Smoke them primarily on the golf course. In my opinion these are the best of the "Compare To" group

CI Knock-Offs - Compare to Partagas Churchill
Poorly made cigars that were no where near a Partagas in design or flavor. Worst of all the filler was comprised of scrap bits, which I was spitting out for most of the smoke. I will not purchase these again, even though the price point was easy on the wallet.

Good smoke, great value. These are as good as many of the common name brands. We I'm digging through my humidifier case I usually come away with a knock-off as often as anything else. They are a consistently good cigar.
Customer Testimonials
I took the risk and ordered these Knock-Offs. Let me mention it early... age them. I tried one right away and it was awful. (Just being honest) Let these sit in your humidor for a month and you'll swear that they are a much more expensive cigar. The draw is easy and the flavor (aged) is incredible. The only tell, that they are not a real high-end stick, is the construction. It isn't terrible but it isn't going to be mistaken for Partagas. All in all, if you can be patient, this is a great stick for a great price!
Great taste and smooth draw. My next order will be for the larger sizes.
This is a great full-bodied cigar worth the try. For the price and compaired to other more expencive brands, this one is a keeper for sure. I am almost finished with my first mazo and have another on the way to sit in the humidor to get some age on it. I have a pretty good feeling it's going to be even better :) Thanks CI, this will be on my re-orders for sure.
I do love a good cigar. Although, the economy has forced the working class man to take alternative action. I used to buy Punch Double Coronas for about a buck each, and I was a happy camper. Then, our leaders decided that "we" the commoners, shouldn't be smoking good stogies. So, the pricing structure suddenly revolved around the upper class. (no offense intended). Let me just say this. These CI Knock-Offs are good smokes. I just received a bundle of these Partagas KO's in the mail today. I like a full flavored tobacco, heck, I was born in the U.S. Tobacco Belt, what more can I say. These, are WELL worth a try for any person who likes a hand rolled all tobacco cigar with a little complexity in its flavor. I'm a happy camper once more, good job CI! I will order another bundle soon.
These are awesome cigars. They are my every day sticks. Pack a nice punch, and burn for a while. This cigar has become my re-order cigars. I also have the membership so they send me 8 cigars a month, and those are usually awesome cigars. So those along with my CI knock off Partagas, I'm happy! I recommend this cigar if you like a nice strong cigar without the strong price attached to it.
A good smoke at any price, flavorful, hearty, makes plenty of smoke. I will get more of these.
Great cigar. How much longer will I have to wait?
Straight out of the box these sticks where FANTASTIC!! I was on the golf course and brought both the CI KO and the Partagas.. Me along with 3 of my friends said that they preferred the CI KO over the Partagas. The CI KO is smooth, taste great, and burns well. I'm sticking with these sticks!!!!!
They are soft, but with time spent in the humidor, they're tolerable and flavorful. Churchills are great for an hour on the deck. Definitely coming back to these beauties.
Bought a bundle and smoked one right away, not bad............a bit soft, not rolled very tight, held an ash well, good even burn, good draw. Pleasant and effortless to smoke. As time goes by they sit in the humidor and get better and better. Each burns better and tastes better then the last one. Peppery through the nose about half way through the smoke. Plenty of smoke, still soft. So soft after a while, you can chew it. If you dont rush it, it keeps its cap okay. Interesting taste, not bad......... oh did I say that already? I would buy these again, maybe today. Thanks
The CI Knockoffs (Mistakes)? C'mon now, the only mistake here is calling them mistakes. Decent smoke to say the least and you'll have some money left for some....mmmmmmmmmmmmmmm... libations.
Good smoke for the money;CI Knock-Offs - Compare to Partagas much better than many higher priced everyday cigars. I have smoked Partagas for years and don't know that I would exactly compare them to Partagas but they are certainly in the neighborhood. I would agree with the other customer who commented that they get better after they sit for a couple of weeks in the humidor.
Big Dave laid some of these tasty sticks (CI Knockoffs - Partagas) on me, and I was so impressed I ordered a bundle right away. But when they arrived, I lit one up and it didn't jazz me like before. So I tossed them in the bottom of one of the humidors. Well... a few weeks later I noticed a darker tint to the wrapper, and one of the lads whispered, "Try me now" in my ear. Wow! A few weeks of rest in the box turned the lads into a splendid smoke worthy of applause. A few months in the box kicks them up to the stratosphere! Sure, there are plenty of sticks that get better with age, but who wants to wait two years for a stogee to blossom and mature? These boys get better and better with each month in the box. Perfect for anyone who is impatient like me.
Suprisingly good cigar (CI Knock-Offs - Compare to Partagas). This would be a good cigar at a much higher price (don't read that part CI). Don't know that I would compare them to a Partagas taste wise but they are definately worth a try even if you are not looking for a bargin.
I thought I would give the CI knock-offs a try, I really like Partagas Cigars. I found that these cigars were worth the price I paid. If you like Partagas, try them !
