La Gloria Cubana Artesanos de Tabaqueros

A very unusual La Gloria....

This new installment from La Gloria Cubana offers something completely different - two wrappers on one cigar. Tabaqueros begin with a silky Connecticut shade wrapper and ends with a dark Ecuadorian Sumatra leaf, ensuring an interesting and complex experience. The filler is a 5-year aged blend of Honduran and Dominican long-leaf tobaccos. Medium to full in body, La Gloria Cubana Tabaqueros starts with a soft, creamy profile and leads into a richer, more fuller-bodied finale. And as always, the construction is top-notch.

This is an amazing cigar! From the the apperance and display, to the taste and construction all top notch! The Belicoso starts off mild-medium smooth and toasty and builds as it reaches the other wrapper. As soon as the burn hits the dark Sumatra wrapper POW! Immediate flavor change to medium-full in body. This is by far the tastiest La Gloria for the price hands down!

wow, i went to a smoking shop and told the guy i want to try something new that changes... so good! expensive but good (was double the price than CI site). the start is very tasty & changes the taste 2wice, its getting stronger in the end but not so strong (something like mid to full). thinking about geting 5pack & smoke it once in a while, if i had the $$$ no Q's it will be my mid day cigar. so if u do... get yourself a pack!

This is one eventful cigar. It lights up spicy smooth with notes of cedar, oak and a creamy sweetness. The highlight is when the ash burns across the two overlapping wrappers. The ash changes from a brown/gray to white with black spots in a blink of the eye. The flavor, however gradually changes to full flavors of dark chocolate, cocoa and dried berries then finishes with earth, pepper and charcoal. Definitely and unusual treat to have in the box.
