Drew Estate My Uzi Weighs a Ton

How much does your uzi weigh?

Introducing Jonathan Drew's latest creation, My Uzi Weighs a Ton - a most excellent edition to Drew Estate's Subculture Studio. This joint project with Joya de Nicaragua is medium to full in body, and boasts a husky series of 60-ring vitolas booming with flavor. Dark and oily San Andres maduro wrappers conceal a hefty dose of Nicaraguan and Brazilian long-fillers secured by a smooth Connecticut 'Capote' binder. The smoke is hearty and rich, unveiling a deep series of bold yet balanced flavors from start to finish. Layered with complexity - earth, leather, pepper, sweetness, cocoa - the massive 60-ring frame is the ultimate vehicle to savor each of these complex intricacies throughout the slow and cool burn.

Customer Reviews of “Drew Estate My Uzi Weighs a Ton”
“Uzi has a good flavor, I think. But I hate it when a cigar just unravels as you smoke it. I can smoke a hundred other cigars and they hold up just fine, without becoming an unsmokeable mess.”
SC of San Diego, CA
“The cigar is good. For the price it should have been a lot better, not much going on taste wise. Medium body, little pepper, dry taco taste.”
RA of Staten Island, NY
“Finally I smoked one of these! no joke I've been waiting months for this to be released. I order right around thanksgiving so it sat in a box somewhere in Philly for a few extra days( normally I get ups 2nd day but CI gave me free shipping USPS). Couldn't wait to open up the mazo and see what these babies looked like. I knew better then to smoke out of the package after sitting in a shipping box for so long so I dropped em in the humi and when they showed signs of tastiness I attacked this thing finally! Nice even burn thick smoke and hints of leather and earth. Med- full hit dead on like described by jd himself. Limited production so I'll be stocking the humidor and letting em age I have a feeling this will be as hard to get as the liga privida flying pig. With that said this stick WAS horrible don't even think of buying it, I'll buy all of em and discard them in a way I see fit.”

“Bought the churchill type at the mall, and holy crap i learned a valuable lesson about judging a book by its cover. This thing was prolly the best stick I ever tasted.”
OC of Fayetteville, NC
“Enjoyed a toro in Ft. Myers Beach two weeks ago. Wonderful smoke. Burned cool and slow with a ton of flavor. Accompanied by a glass of scotch and I was in heaven.”
CP of Round Hill, VA
“I almost didnt get it because I am not a fan of Drew Estate cigars (the Liga Privada is good but there are others just as tasty for way less cost). I immediately was lectured by the shop owner about how Drews cigars are not flavored, they are infused, which annoyed the hellout of me because I hear and read that everywhere. That being said I love full strength spicy ass kickers. The robusto was earthy leathery toasty and medium full upon lighting. The flavor didn't change much throughout the smoke. Medium full, no spice (which I was craving). The best flavor was when I was about halfway to 3 inches into the smoke it got a bit sweeter and slightly stronger. If you get it free or get a deal, get it. Its a good cigar, but not a great one. There are too many other better and cheaper smokes out there.”

“I tried out the Toro and was thoroughly impressed. These are a great cigar with great flavor. My only knock is that it's not very complex. Pretty one-dimensional throughout. I would try them again though.”

“I love the taste of this cigar. It was extremely smooth. I will definitely order more. Yes, I would recommend My Uzi Weighs a Ton to my friends.”
JH of Louisville, KY
“My bad influence gave me my first Uzi while on vacation. Since then I have bought another dozen. I love this cigar.”
FS of Staten Island, NY
“Its an Ok cigar, It starts out very flavorful but by the middle gets kinda nasty and tastes dirty. I feel it's a little overpriced. I can buy a Don Pepin or CAO Brazilia, or Obsidian along the same flavor profile, for much less and enjoy them so much more.”
“Not a bad smoke but not worth the price tag. Medium-full flavor, mostly pepper. Would be a great knock around smoke if reasonably priced.”
KP of Wyoming, MI
“I finally smoked the "My Uzi Weighs a Ton"... and the kindest thing I can say is that it smokes well and uniformly. The most honest thing I can say is that it has a dull, unremarkable taste that is underwhelming. I don't say "don't do it", but would say you can get much better bang for your buck.”
HR of Springfield, OR
“Don't let the Bait Fish fool you. This smokes like a BIG cigar. Produces tons of smoke, very slow burning, great full flavor and of course, the Jonathan Drew quality construction and draw. Don't smoke it too fast or the Uzi will make you Woozy.”
JV of Cordova, TN
“Not a bad stick however, like others said for the money I would have expected better. Flavor profile stayed the same thru out. Now I do not know if this is due to it being dry or not but the wrapper split wide open in the last third. I got it from a good shops humi, it did stay the night in my truck tho so possibly That was it. There are others out there that I like more. This is on the try again another day....”

“Kentucky Fire Cured- Wrapper-small veins, quite toothy, good oil sheen. 1/3- even burn, white ash, liga and muwat flavors notes, hints of hickory and masquite(verry subtle). Started trying to pair it with port switched to tea getting better flavor notes. 2/3 some pepper and spice notes (now that I'm using tea), smooth, digging the smoky bbq grill thing goin on (makes me wanna grill out and have a cold beer in my hands), feels like a good summer's day cigar. Last half. Got a little more spicy, touch of leather, little cream. Leaves you feeling full ”
DD of Oakland, TN
“Smoked my first kentucky fire cured chuncky rott. Very one dimensional. Flavors are charred, slight hickory, slight spice. Unless they improve with some sleep, I will not order these again. Although burn and construction were good.”
“I love this smoke! The feel, the draw, the smoke output...all great. However, I have had some construction issues (ie wrapper cracked, burn corrections) BUT I still love this stick as my everyday smoke. I know we all have different tastes, but the first 2/3rds is always semi-sweet coffee/leather/cocoa/cedar...the last 3rd has more leather/tobacco/cedar...medium bodied. Hope this helps someone out!”
“Kentuck Fire Cured - Smelled great out of the wrapper, sort of like hickory smoke slightly sweet. Great draw and ample smoke. Construction was firm, toothy wrapper. Problem is that all the hype will lead you to believe this is a grat stick. I was disappointed at the lack of character, it was rather dull tasting. None of the background flavors really came through as I was expecting. I don't believe they're worth the price they're asking. After all it's a matter of taste.”
EF of Murrieta, CA
“Had a nice and noticeable bite in comparison to other brands. Full smoke. I always wanted to smoke these down to the nub. Not packed very full or tight so that's my only complaint. An 'all business' smoke. ”

“Very good at first, the more it burned the less appetizing, almost like a peice of bubble gum would”
DF of Flemington, NJ
“MUWAT is a great stick from Drew Estate. It is medium bodied with a great flavor of sweetness and cocoa. Will not disappoint. No peppery taste (a plus for me). Holds its ash very well and easy on the draw. Try the 6", 60 gauge Gordo. This smoke lasts a long time. Had one with two Guinness Drafts. A bit more pricey than I wanted to spend at the time, but I definitely got what I paid for.”
