I've got my "ION" flavor.

Handmade in Esteli, Nicaragua, ION cigars offer the perfect fusion of unique flavors and premium tobaccos. Keyword there, premium tobaccos. That's right, ION ain't your run of the mill squishy, cardboard-tasting, short-filler cheapie that's been slathered in syrupy cherry goodness. But rather the opposite, a premium handmade that's been carefully enhanced with a variety of natural flavorings to create a distinctive smoking experience.

Ed. Note: I agree, some of the names are a bit goofy....but the cigars are far from it. That's all. Goodnight.

Got one in a brown bag sampler. Flavor was pleasant. The one I got was the most loosely wrapped cigar I have ever seen. Burned though it in under 5 min, with ash everywhere. Maybe I just got a bad one. I buy the brown bag samplers regularly so time will tell.

I got started on flavored cigars but haven't had one lately. I got a couple of these in a brown bag sampler awhile back. Pulled them out today and man, kinda impressive. Just enough flavor, great aromatic and smooth draw. Cafe Cubana and Spheremint, will definitely buy again.

I would like to see a brand sampler soon! Had one in the CI's Gourmet Infused 'Brown Bag' Sampler. Strong maple smell that filled the room, very close to an acid but slightly lighter. Burned and pulled like a Java. Currenly I buy boxes of the CI's copper label, if it wasn't for the price I would switch out completly.

My comments regarding the Cinnaroma Toro. I let the cigar rest two weeks at 68 % RH, that may turn out not to be not enough time. Nice looking cigar with one soft spot. Burn was nice and even, despite the soft spot. Started off mild with a cinnamon/clove taste. Very little sweetness and what was there was on the lips. The cinnamon/clove tastes were somewhat harsh and made my mouth tingle. It was like a mean Acid cigar, but for $2 (deal), I'll put more time on them and hope they get better.

I usually do not smoke flavored cigars but I do enjoy the occasional tabak or java cigars. When I saw the Ion cafe cubano cigars, I figured they were probably not going to be to my liking but I must say I was very surprised. The cigars are mild and extremely smooth, the flavor profile is not very sweet and has a really great coffee flavor. Construction is very good and the cigar never needed any touch ups and burned straight and true. If you like the java or tabak line of smokes, you will love these cigars.

If you normally smoke non flavored cigars and were thinking of trying something flavored, try the Cafe Cubano. A nice coffee flavor and so lightly sweetened that you could almost say it was not sweetened. I will be buying a box very soon. I love Tabak Especial and Java. These are right up there with them, but more natural tasting.
