Gurkha Archive Sale

Here’s to 20 years of success, and many more.

Hats off and congratulations to K. Hansotia for 20 years of delectable handmades. Flourishing 20 years in the cigar business is no easy feat, as many great brands have risen to fame, only to witness their own demise shortly thereafter. Distinguishing Gurkha from the rest of the pack has been an undeniable attentiveness to innovation and quality. Introducing the Gurkha Archive, a tribute to many years of deserved success.

The Archive took 2 full years and countless blending to finally master. This gorgeous milky-brown cigar comes draped in a silky smooth Connecticut wrapper. Bursting from its core awaits Nicaraguan and Dominican long-fillers accompanied by a genuine Cameroon binder. Expect an eventful, medium to full-bodied bouquet intertwined by notes of spice, coffee, sweet tobacco, and nuts finished by a toasty crescendo. Box-pressed and primed for the ultimate experience, the Archive exemplifies Gurkha’s rich cigar-making history. With only 1,000 boxes put into production, the reasonably priced Archive won’t be around for long….

Not great
Got this as part of a sampler. I was not impressed, flavor was lacking, burn was even, I smoked about 2/3 and chucked it. Wouldn't buy again. I have one more in my humidor from a brown bag sampler, gonna let it sit in the humidor for awhile and see if it's better

Disappointed
Got this cigar as a part of sampler. Agree with Thomas: thick and uneven wrapper, burns significantly faster than the filler. Flavor is ok (not too good), a tad too strong for me. Not gonna buy again.

Gurkha Archive from a sampler pack
This one felt a little loose in it's building..... It required constant attention or it would go out - this was throughout the entire smoke.... The flavor was pleasant but I would rate it more toward the milder of the Gurkha line.... You'll need a charged lighter to get through this one..... The pricing should be a little less... Aging would be a definite plus..... Long Ashes My Friends

Exceptional smoke!
Even burn with consistent flavor throughout. Highly recommend.

Bad burn issues...
The flavor was pretty good, but I 100% agree with Thomas. The wrapper burns at a different slower speed than the fillers causing tunnelling and canoeing throughout the smoke. Keep your lighter handy. Not a re-buy!

Just another mediocre cigar
The wrapper is so thick compared to the filler it requires constant re-lighting and maintenance, plus the filler is not tightly packed so it smokes extremely quick. Only a few good puff over the coarse of the entire thing. Do Not Buy!
