E.P. Carrillo Edicion Limitada '12
A special yearly release from E.P.
Each year, E.P. Carrillo releases a new limited-edition cigar titled: Edicion Limitada. And faster than you can say Ernesto Perez, it's gone, only to return like a phoenix from the fire the next year. But upon its return the blend is crafted anew, utilizing only the finest hand-selected tobaccos, somehow improving on the year before. The end result is one of the most sought after limited-edition cigars on the market today.
The Edicion Limitada 2012 is a brilliant, finely tuned limited-edition cigar. With only 1,500 total boxes put into production, each and every cigar has been carefully crafted into a beautiful 6" x 54 toro. This size acts as the perfect vehicle for the blend at hand, and delivers gobs of flavor-filled billowy smoke. It all starts with a Connecticut Broadleaf oscuro wrapper, extensively aged and shimmering with oils. Looming below awaits a long-filler core of all-Nicaraguan tobaccos, grown in black volcanic soils, and hugged by a feisty Brazilian Habano binder. This recipe serves up a medium to full-bodied profile that demands your attention from first light to last puff. Washing over the palate are waves of rich, yet refined hints of espresso bean, earth, cocoa, pepper, and a hint of sweetness. My advice here, get your paws on some now, before they're gone forever.
