Davidoff 100 Years Geneva
Happy 100th, Davidoff!
When it comes to Davidoff, everything is special. They're well-known and well-respected for their ultra-premium, top-dollar handmades. So to commemorate their 100th Anniversary, how could they possibly outdo what's already been done. They couldn't, right? Wrong. And the proof is in this new blend - a $22-$28 handmade, which is modest by Davidoff's standards.
To create the Davidoff 100 Years blend, Henke Kelner and crew scoured their extensive list of proprietary tobaccos and chose a combination that showcased their knack for agricultural innovation and creation of world-class tobaccos. Included is a very special blend of leaves which represent crossbreeding of various seeds to achieve perfect balance and flavor. The wrapper is a dark, Dominican Criollo leaf grown in the Dominican's Yamasa region. The binder, a specially fermented 'San Vicente variation.' And the filler blend consists of 5 unique tobacco variations grown by Davidoff in the Dominican Republic and Ecuador. Each of which has been aged 5 to 9 years depending on what the tobacco required for optimal flavor. The resulting combination showcases perfect balance and flavor that only Davidoff could achieve.
