Time to get amped.
Cue the music and enter CAO's latest endeavor, Concert. Taking its name to heart, Concert piles on strong musical influences and doesn't look back. The size names, bands, boxing, the whole enchilada is tied to music. And to be honest it looks pretty cool. But the important thing here is that beneath the thick dose of music tuned marketing awaits a savory new handmade.
Concert is an entirely new creation built from the ground up. Patiently crafted and blended, the complex blend delivers from the get go. It all starts with a rare, oily and leathery Ecuador Habano Rosado wrapper. This welcoming leaf hugs a Connecticut Broadleaf binder and a complex four region long-filler core of Honduran and Nicaraguan tobaccos. Together, this ensemble produces a rich medium to full-bodied offering delivering balanced flavor in spades. Billows of thick smoke produce chewy notes of nuts, gentle spices, coffee and toast. Also joining the fray is an undeniable creamy tobacco note, rounding out this new handmade in grand fashion. To put it all simply, Concert is CAO’s best offering in quite some time. If you still have your doubts try one, and I bet you’ll be singing a different tune.
Add Concert to CAO's long and distinguished list of 90+ rated brands. Two sizes received a well-deserved 90-point score, noting: "Earthy coffee notes and woody flavors achieve a tasty balance. The wrapper is dark and oily, and the burn and draw are even and substantial."
