C&C Corojo

Manufactured by Cusano co-creator Joe Chiusano, C&C cigars fuse premium craftsmanship with affordability.

The C&C Corojo was crafted as a tribute to classic Cuban cigars in an effort to capture the essence of old Havana. Carefully handcrafted in the Dominican, the Corojo employs a zesty reddish brown Ecuadorian Corojo wrapper. Beneath awaits a Dominican binder nestled atop Cuban-seed Dominican long-fillers. The finished product is a smooth medium-bodied gem producing spicy nuances and a long finish. Hearty, complex and satisfying, the only thing un-Cuban about the C&C Corojo is the price.

C&C Corojo received a solid, 90-point rating, noting: "Toasty and sweet with some herbal undertones and a touch of floral flavor. The cigar is made well, drawing and burning evenly throughout."

Was recommended at my local Spec's. Ended up being a sublime pick. I have been leery to try non-flavored cigars (Natural, Acid, CAO Flavours, etc) since my first experience left me green at the gills. After deciding I need to season my palate beyond that, I took the leap and tried this one. Simply put: I believe I experienced what a real cigar smoke should be like. Just utter, total relaxation where you stare in awe at the cigar, questioning if it is real or not. Now, granted, my palate is not seasoned enough to really separate flavors quite yet, but I will agree it was fantastic. I had issues keeping it lit about halfway through but re-lit without a problem. Went out on its own at about the 1.25" to 1.5" mark and ended the smoke there. The smoke smelled slightly sweet and even my partner commented it smelled good. The draw was cool and easy while the smoke was not 'heavy' or bellowing unless several consecutive puffs were taken. I would definitely enjoy this cigar again but since I have only just started again, I'm not 100% sure if it would be in a humidor rotation or not.
