Rocky Patel HR 500

Back, back, back - gone!

Introducing HR 500 cigars, a collaboration between Rocky Patel and Gary Sheffield, two men who know their craft well. Scratch that - extremely well. Both super-stars in their own right, HR 500 cigars are a limited-edition release celebrating Gary Sheffield's career achievement of hitting 500 home-runs.

In order to capture such an impressive achievement, Rocky crafted each cigar into a hefty 6.5" x 52 toro. This generous size not only captures Sheffield's larger than life attitude, it acts as the perfect vehicle to deliver big-time flavor in droves. On the outside, a dark and enticing Habano wrapper hailing from the misty valleys of Ecuador. Just below this leaf, a generous array of Honduran and Nicaraguan long-fillers secured by a Honduran Jamastran binder. The end result is a cigar medium to full in body, greeting the senses with notes of coffee, black pepper, earth, and spicy-sweet nuances. A fine tribute to one of baseball's greats, HR 500 steps up the plate in grand fashion.

This is easily one of my favorite cigars; it's full of flavor and properly reflects one of my favorite baseball players of all time. I tried this first at the 10th Annual Cigarfest -- this might be what I stock my 100+ humidor with. Amazing.

By far a VERY enjoyable cigar. Good smooth burn, flavor from start to finish, well designed and a tribute to a great baseball player. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED for cigar smokers!!

I had bought 3 of these on an auctioneer site a while back, thinking these will be great for some wiffleball. Smoked my first one this weekend and I must say I won't be lighting these playing ball anymore. Not because I didn't like them - because they were too good. This deserves an actual smoke session. Don't be deceived by the unoriginal baseball dedication or cheesy wrapper. Great cigar in honor of a great baseball player. Loved that stance he had.
