Padilla Artemis

Email
The latest from Ernesto Padilla.

Handmade in Honduras at the heralded Raices Cubanas factory, Padilla Artemis marks the first box-pressed offering in the Padilla portfolio. Crafted with dark, reddish-brown Cuban-seed Nicaraguan wrapper leaf and a rich blend of Nicaraguan long-fillers, Artemis delivers a smooth, Cuban-esque profile. Hearty, traditional tobacco notes are backed by a hint of cedar, coffee, earth, and a sweet, peppery finish. Delicious, and very well-balanced, Artemis is another feather in the now overloaded Padilla cap.

A Padilla write-up just seems odd without it, so I'll just reserve the space now: Insert imminent 90+ rating here.

Customer Reviews of “Padilla Artemis”
“The Padilla Artemis torpedo is Padilla's next big hit. Lots of earthy aromas and flavors with hints of light spice, leather and sweet cedar and tobacco. This cigar will rival his 1932 and Miami.”
GR of Sterling, VA
“Just got a 10 pack and right out of the cello, this has to be the finest blend from this manufacturer. I believe this brings Padilla into the real big leagues. I cannot wait until I've allowed these sticks to humidor age for as long as I can stand it and try my second one. These will be a regular in my rotation.”
PK of Milwaukee, WI
“This wicked blend tastes just like a Padron Family Reserve #44 natural, from body to strength the Artemis torpedo is a bargain at half the price, and a box is twice the pleasure.”
PD of Bethesda, MD
“I had my first Padilla Artemis last night and I must say, that it will not be my last. I have been a long time fan of the Miami, but I must say that this is by far the best cigar that he has produced. I found that I had to re-light several times, however this problem will probably resolve itself with some rest in the humidor. That being said, the flavor of this cigar was fantastic and very consistant throughout my smoking experience. If you liked the Miami, you will love the Artemis!”
RW of Keystone Heights, FL
“This is a GREAT cigar. The burn is even and the taste is fantastic! I look forward to buying more of these...soon! C'mon Jambalaya...let's see more of Padilla Artemis! I'm keeping these in my humi from now on. I love the box-pressed feel of it in my hand, too.”
AB of Del Rio, TX
“Received this cigar in a sampler packet, and was sorry that there was only one. This is a fine smoke, that I believe could please most cigar lovers. A very smooth draw, with ample flavor from start to finish. It is not over powering, yet gives the satisfaction as if it were full body. Then again, what else would you expect from Padilla?”
DM of Taylor, MI
“I usually stay away from box press (personal preference). Got the Artemis in a Padilla sampler. What a bonus, the Artemis is outstanding! Maybe I like box press. This may be my new favorite Padilla. And, I love the Dominus. Got one more sleeping in the humidor; not my last. Just sayin...”
TS of Mckinney, TX
“Picked up 10 of these on Joe's daily deal...a little hesitant, the dominus cigars I have tried all had burn issues, but the value couldn't be passed up. The only issue I had was an uneven burn, never had to relight which is the problem I had with the dominus and for me I can live with an uneven burn if I don't have to keep lighting it...good taste, bellows of smoke, over all I enjoyed it, a little pricey but on Joe's DD I'd definately order again.”
