Craziness!

For a limited time, enjoy an additional discount on Padilla Fumas....now as low as 88-cents per cigar. Discount reflected in prices below.

Bold statement coming up: this will be one of the top value buys of the year. C'mon man, 99 cents for a cigar from Padilla is mind-boggling, spleen-tingling, gland-pumping, eyes-dilating, palm-sweating, you name it....it's just an old fashioned great deal.

Padilla's Fumas blend showcases the same complex profile that took Padilla to the top. Difference is, these are mixed filler....and obscenely cheap. Available in three tasty varieties - Connecticut Ecuador, Ecuador Sumatra, Maduro - and filled with a blend of tobaccos from Nicaragua's most notable regions, these medium-bodied handmades are smooth and complex. Expect a rich, earthy smoke in true Padilla form with subtle notes of coffee, cream, and sweet spices.

The sky is falling, old friends. Considering SCHIP taxes alone are nearly half the cost of this cigar, you're getting it for next to nothing. The salad days of 99-cent Padillas will soon be gone, so act with haste!

Customer Reviews of “Padilla Fumas”
“Decent cigar for puddering around the yard or handing out to moochers. Very mild and a little on the bland side, but you could do a lot worse for the price so I'm not complaining. Better than many of the other cheapies offered by CI.”
GS of Fleetwood, PA
“I decided to give these outrageously economical offerings from Padilla a try. I'm a fan of big, bold flavors and I honestly didn't expect much from these. I have to say that I am pleasantly surprised. The torpedo is mild-bodied but full of subtle flavors-especially coffee and cream. Yeah, they'll probably be more of a mowing the lawn, playing golf kind of a smoke-but they are really fine cigars. A buck a stick from Padilla-who would've thunk it!”
PK of Bristol, CT
“Hard to recommend these cigars. It was like smoking a hand rolled cheap machine made cigar. In fact the only thing I can say good about the cigar is it felt good in my hand. Inconsistent burn. Not much taste. Kept waiting for something to happen. Oh well.... I still love CI.”
GJ of Metairie, LA
“Just got my Padilla Fumas . 'nice everyday' type of smoke, I'd even have paid more for it.”
BK of Cranford, NJ
“The Padilla Fumas was a pleasant surprise. Slightly heavier than mild and with a remarkable amount of pleasant flavour. Excellent draw, quite an even burn. Nice cigar.”
MM of Leesburg, VA
“Just got my bundle the other day. I know you can't expect too much for a buck. First cigar bad taste at the beginning the not too bad in the middle last 2 inches harsh, hot, really bad taste. Oh well, we'll see what happens to the rest of the bunch, might have to try them on my friends?”
MR of Berwyn, IL
“Tried these as like many other deal sniffing hawk-eyes have. Taste was just ok and burn was consistent but churchhill size started getting soft and spongy about 1/2 way through. Typical of most mixed fillers in a cigar. Much better selections from CI for a yard gar.”
BH of Woodstock, GA
“Great cigar for the money. This is one of the cigars that you smoke until it starts to make your fingers warm. You won't regret buying Padilla cigars.”
TG of Naples, FL
“Really nice for the money. Ordered a bundle of the torpedos and was pleasantly surprised. A mild smoke with smooth flavor, even burn, and a nice draw. A good all-around cigar for early in the day or handing out to others. Don't expect that distinct Padilla "pop" to the flavor, as I said, they are quite mild that being said I highly recommend them for the $$$.”
ML of Ft Worth, TX
“Very low price is all that can be said good for this cigar. There is no flavor what so ever. I started with 10 and have smoked 5 so far and in the last third of maybe 1 cigar I got a hint of pepper but that was it. The last 5 will get some humi time to see if that helps, if not they will be strictly smoked when I am out working in yard. This is the one and only cigar my wife has ever asked me to please throw it out, no questions asked throw it out. Yard gar my friends.”
MD of Lexington, KY
“This is a descent cigar. Good construction, okay taste, great price. However, I got the torpedos, and most had some unraveling issues after cutting, but not too bad. About half burned evenly, and all produced a good amount of smoke plummage. All in all, this is perfect for handing out or when your knocking out items on your honey do list.”
CC of LaMarque, TX
“I ordered a bundle of robustos and just tried one after letting them sit for almost a month in my humidor. I was pleasently suprised. It is a mild smoke that started off spicy and then went into a very rich oak-like flavor that leveled out as I went on. The burn was pretty even and I did not have any trouble with the draw. Very good choice especially for the price. I planned on sharing them at our get togethers this summer but now I am not sure. Thanks CI!!!”
WR of Troy, MO
“This is an ok smoke, not bad to pass out to freeloaders or smoke around the yard. No noticeable flavor for me. Slightly heavy then mild I figured for the price of a buck a stick it'd be like smoking air but surprisingly it had a little flare to it. I'll keep these around for the freeloaders or when the snow flys and I've gotta man the snowblower.”
RG of Hudson Falls, NY
“Despite having the thin outer wrapper these have, these are very good smokes. An excellent value for what they cost. The only real complaint i would have is they smoke too quick, but most all the Robusto size cigars i have ever smoked burn to fast for me. I will order these again, but i may get the Churchills next time so i can savor the great flavor of these great cigars.”
JP of Whitesburg, GA
“A decent, mild smoke. Small problem though. Out of the 20 cigar bundle, 7 of them has stems and sticks in the tobacco. The quality control was apparently out to lunch on my bundle! If you can get around the lawn shavings, they're a decent smoke for the price.”
JL of Athens, IL
“CI does it again! What a good cigar for an everyday smoke.Great burn good flavor. I got 'em in only three days, had one the same day,and was stunned by these things. If you haven't tried these, give 'em a try. You will be glad you did! My Humidor thanks you.”
CM of Thomaston, GA
“Great flavor, great cigar for the price.”
MN of Ft. Worth, TX
“I just got the Fumas today and I couldn't wait to try it so I ripped open the package grabbed my punch and let it rip. Not bad for a everyday cigar. The only problem I encountered was that the draw was too tight. Nice even burn, decent straight forward flavor. Nothing to write home about but has good aging potential. These will be my golf cigars. Definitely taste cedar with a little coffee note.”
YC of Los Angeles, CA
“I purchased 3 bundles of these a few months back on a weekend special. Great taste, even burn, good draw. For me not the cigar I will relax with after a meal, but good for yard work and the duck blind. The only problem I've had was with the cut. I found that with the toro size, a punch cut works best because of the mixed filler. With a straight cut, the tobacco tends to fall out. For the price from Padilla, check this out. Thanks again to CI for their great prices for a great yargar handmade.”
TB of Cape Cod, MA
“Very tasty. Well constructed. Good draws in every one.”
JT of Saint Louis, MO
“For the price...this is my everyday cigar..cheap but satisfying...I had to buy another humidor just for the Fumas.”
TA of Hayward, CA
“I'm always on the look out for a decent everyday cigar and having tried some fumas from another company (PDR) that I liked very well decided to have a go at the Padilla Sumatra Coronas. I wish the Padillas held up in comparison. I certainly expected them to. They didn't. The bundle I received had a dominant characteristic of bitterness without a lot of anything else in the way of flavor to offset it. Construction was good overall with a draw that I'd describe as a bit too firm. Wrappers were in generally good condition though quite thin. All in all the experience was just not very good. I'm still a fan of the other brand fumas but in the future I'll have to give the Padillia Sumtra Fumas a pass. May try the maduros at a later date. Maybe.”
AA of Heflin, AL
“I have favorably reviewed these smokes in the past, and have to do so again!! While placing my normal monthly order, some higher price smokes and some 'yard gars', CI was having a super sale on the churchills for less than a buck apiece, so had to grab a mazo of 20. Got them in a few days ago, and of course had to try one right out of the post office box. Man was I impressed. These smokes are just great, as I should have expected from a Padilla product. They are just as good as many of the smokes costing three times what I paid for these, now I just wish I had bought a lot more at the price. You can't go wrong with any of these Padilla Fumas as a daily smoker, especially at CI's prices.”
BW of College Station, TX
“I just don't see the validity in most of the criticism I've read on these. Yes the wrapper is thin and a little splotchy but for a 1 dollar mixed filler cigar it's actually pretty solid. I've had two of my sticks from the bundle I just bought the other day and was quite surprised. There was temporary bitterness toward the middle of the second third but a pleasant earthiness prevailed throughout most of the stick. Rest in the humidor should calm them down and kill some of the sponginess. I can see this becoming a regular in my humi.”
KB of Shelbyville, KY
“I just received a bundle of the Sumatra corona. I smoked one immediatly with no humi rest and it was pretty nice for a dollar mixed filler. They are not attractive by any means and the wrapper is pretty thin. That actually helps when the burn needs corrected. I noticed 2 or 3 that had a little unraveling but again the thin wrapper may help in fixing it. If the continue to get better with rest I could see these being regulars in my humi. They are no Cuba Libretto by any stretch, but definitely worth the cash. ”
KB of Shelbyville, KY
“Just got a bundle of the Sumatrans. For a mixed filler, this is a decent stick. On top of that they're only a buck a piece, awesome!”
KB of Shelbyville, KY
“Padilla Fumas taste good and burn nice. The wrapper is a little thin and not always tight but not troublesome. I'll be ordering more when the time comes. Good "yard gars" or when a top shelf smoke isn't practical, like when the brother-in law comes mooch'n. ”
PB of Holland, MI
“Just got my bundle of 20 Connecticut Churchills yesterday. My friend and I sat on his front porch yesterday evening and each smoked one. These are much nicer cigars than I expected, and go especially nice with the Boston ale we were drinking. There is no harshness, the flavor was surprisingly rich for a mild/med cigar, and the burn was even all the way to the nub. In fact, I smoked mine down to less than 1/2 an inch without it burning. Nice cigar! ”
RS of Bozeman, MT
“Wow, always liked anything from Padilla, so had to try out the Sumatra Corona Fumas and I can't believe it's only a buck a smoke!! Only complaint is that it takes too long to smoke the whole six inch corona. Give them some time in the humidor and it's worth a lot more than a dollar. Next order is going to be the Robusto Maduro, can't go wrong if it's a Padilla product. These are definitely on my list to send to the troops over in Afghanistan.”
BW of College Station, TX
“I feel its my duty to give my opinion on this cigar. I just got them, maybe an hour ago (shipped quickly and properly) and am currently smoking one, I have no patience. I have the maduro by the way. First off, the burn is even and have not had to relight, which is important to me. Tons of smoke on each puff. Now im just a regular dude getting started in the cigar world. I am looking for a cheap cigar that I can smoke daily, heck maybe 2. The aroma is pretty good and so far the taste is good. No nasty after taste. I would say it is medium in strength, but again im basing my opinions on my limited experience. Last thing, it seems to burn kinda quickly but not bad. Probably a 45-60 min stick. Get some dammit!”
JS of Glendale, AZ
“Folks, I believe I just found my regular. I received a bundle of the Connecticuts in the mail today and I couldnt be more pleased. These arent just good for the price, they are just good. And the price is right... I hope I do find something that I don't like about them so I dont feel like an idiot for overspending in the past. Haha! Thanks CI!”
CL of Lancaster, CA
“Ahh man. Had decent hopes for this cigar. Have tried 6 or 7 and every single one has been rolled so tight as to be completely unsmokeable. I'm sure EVERY bundle will not be this way, nonetheless it is still a huge bummer.”
AB of Deltona, FL
“I ordered the Sumatra wrapper in corona, and these are great sticks for the money. I had one after 5 days in the humidor and it wasn't bad at all! I could never tell it was just 88 cents a piece if I didn't order them myself. It's not complex or anything, just a good tobacco taste with no harshness. Great for yard work.”
BC of FALL RIVER, MA
“I like to buy them in bulk for backyard cook outs & fire pit gatherings, ok by most standards, but excellent as handouts to those who only smoke a few cigars a year and wouldn't know any better.”
JS of SOMERSET, MA
“Good smoke for a buck. They arrived on time in great shape. The smoke got a bit acrid half way down, but just a blow back through the cigar and all was well. It amazes me how many people complain about a 1$ stick, you get what you pay for, but I think you get a little more with these.”
