Great smoke! The first inch or 2 was strong and full, but very smooth, very Cuban. After that, the cigar mellowed but kept a full taste. very smooth, good smoke. I would make a strong comparison to an Oliva V cigar.
I'm not going to write a 300 word message about what I was doing while I was smoking this cigar, or what hints I got from this smoke, or even how much smoke billowed from the end of this gar. I'm just going to tell you this was a DAMN good smoke.
Fantastic cigar. All around well made and the taste is awesome. I think I'll have another one right now.
My first BlendLab is a big hit! Full, strong nicotine hit intiially that actually mellows and stays such even into final 3rd. Excellent flavor (spice/cardomon/cedar mellows to toasted sweet bread) that remains complex and balanced throughout. Medium-Full body w/o a ton of thick output but stays solid and substantive enough to enjoy fully. Construction is terrific, esp for 6x60, w/2" dark grey ash. 4-4.5*/90pts
Expected a little stronger. Nice flavor, great burn for a 60 ring gauge.
Great cigar. Has become one of my favorite smokes.
I chose the WH-660 as my first sample out of the Blend Lab for a few different reasons. Mostly for my desire for a nice full bodied cigar that had tobaccos from my favorite areas. Here is my Quick Reivew:
Construction: Beautiful wrapper, nice color, no defects
Light: Ingnited easily, draw was a bit tight at the start
Burn: Burned evenly first inch, then a runner developed (my fault for rushing the experience rather than allowing them to sit in the Humidor a few days)
Rating: 92 buying again.
it was a good cigar
Lovely! Great cigar, good flavor, nice body and a good looking cigar too. I want more, many more.
Not nearly as full as advertised. Maybe the big ring gauge knocked it down. I thought it was just medium body. Still a good smoke for a $6-7 cigar.
Overall good cigar, nice even burn, full body all way through. Not mild, not strong, somewhere in between. An overall good cigar, and smoke.
Purchased 1 at Cigarfest 2012 and lit it right away. After enjoying it for 15 minutes went back to the blendlab display and purchased 10 more. Excellent contruction, near prefect draw. Subtle spice notes with a nice balance of cedar and leather. Trace earthy late into the cigar. Very smooth with no harshness on the end. Medium body - much lighter than expected. Overall an outstanding cigar that I will continue to purchase and smoke.
A decent smoke, but nowhere near as full as I had hoped. The draw okay and the burn was fairly even. Not my favorite, but not bad.
Wow, the wrapper is beautiful with small veins and teeth. It looks like a perfect piece of suede leather. The size; 6x60 is now my favorite size of cigar. It feels great in the hand, burns really well, and the draw was nice and easy. Before lighting, I thought it looked a lot like a My Father. At first light, the flavor was grassy and vegetative. However, the 2nd third of the cigar brought some nice tobacco flavors and was a nice smoke. Looking at it, I forgot this was a full flavored cigar.
Overall a very good cigar, between medium and full body with good flavor the whole way thru. Nice looking wrapper and burned well. I plan to buy more.
