Inventory Control Manager

The Inventory Control Manager will play an important support role within the Distribution Center team. Under the direction of the Distribution Center Operations Manager, the Inventory Control Manager provides direction, leadership and supervision of all daily activities associated within designated warehouse work groups. This role has responsibility for supervising the Inventory Control, Counts and Sampler Assembly functions of the facility managing at least 20 hourly employees and is responsible for all aspects of inventory control, receiving, replenishment, sampler assembly, new associate training, and safety within the respective department.

The position necessitates excellent organizational skills and good verbal and written communication skills. Punctuality and good time management skills are necessary to meet deadlines, and a strong attention to detail.

Responsibilities/Essential Functions:

  • Maintains inventory cycle count and physical inventory programs.
  • Compiles, verifies and reports periodic statistical information to management.
  • Ensures compliance to inventory processes and procedures as well as compliance to contractual obligations.
  • Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
  • Plans layout of inventory, warehouse, and other storage areas, considering turnover size, weight, and related factors of items stored.

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required.
  • 5+ years of experience in a comparable role in a high-volume distribution center.
  • Experience with all warehouse equipment including stand-up and sit down forklifts.
  • Ability to ensure that responsibilities of employees and initiatives within the facility are supported and implemented.
  • Experience coordinating hourly employees performing functions in the following areas: inventory control, receiving, replenishment and sampler building.
  • Dividing time between the various functions to ensure steady workflow and optimum productivity.
  • Reviewing productivity numbers and aligning responsibilities to meet organizational goals and shifting labor to meet work demands.
  • Fostering an environment of teamwork within the operation while developing employees to achieve their goals and objectives.
  • Conducting performance reviews, documenting employee issues and taking correction action when appropriate.
  • Facilitating daily team meetings with all employees to motivate, communicate priorities and objectives and provide other critical information.
  • Monitoring and managing overtime.
  • Ensuring the proper completion of housekeeping duties.

Quality Assurance Analyst

Detailed Job Description/Responsibilities:

  • Works closely with Project Managers to prioritize and test sites, functionality and enhancements
  • Works closely with developers, design and business units
  • Works with project team to identify, investigate, and prioritize bugs
  • Test sites across mobile devices including iOS, Android and others
  • Document and build Functional Test Plans, which encompass the business requirements specific to the project
  • Monitor and track resolution of defects and coordinate with developers in order to prevent in the future
  • Design, monitor and analyze quality assurance metrics such as defect, defect counts, test results, and test status
  • Provide guidance and subject matter expertise to developers on testing and Quality Assurance (QA) methodologies and processes
  • Documentation of standard operating procedures, principles, training material and other document needs

Required Competencies/Skills:

  • Detail oriented, strong problem solving and troubleshooting analytical skills
  • Hands on experience in creating test plans/test cases
